Keith Barksdale

Prior to co-founding Ledgemont Capital Group, he was a Managing Director of Indigo Merchant Capital Group, where he was involved in capital raising, management recruiting, and overall strategic and financial advisory services to growth stage companies. Prior to Indigo, Mr. Barksdale was a Managing Partner of Third Ridge Capital Management, LLC, a long/short U.S. equity hedge fund. Third Ridge merged with Indigo in 2004. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Masters Capital, where he was a member of a team managing over $650m in assets that achieved net returns of 55 percent. Mr. Barksdale was responsible for building Masters Capital Research and oversaw 30 consultants in multiple industry sectors, including technology, healthcare and telecom. Prior to Masters, he was a Senior Institution Equity Salesperson at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, National Westminster Bank and Kidder Peabody & Co., covering premier global asset managers. Mr. Barksdale graduated with a BA in English and History from Hampden-Sydney College in 1993. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

Edward Neugeboren

Mr. Neugeboren has experience in portfolio management, corporate management and institutional equity research. Prior to co-founding Ledgemont Capital Group, he was a Managing Director of Indigo Merchant Capital Group, involved in capital raising, management recruiting, and providing overall strategic and financial advisory services to growth stage companies. Prior to Indigo, Mr. Neugeboren was a Managing Partner of Third Ridge Capital Management, LLC, a long/short U.S. equity hedge fund, from 2001 to 2004. Third Ridge merged with Indigo in 2004. He was Chief Administrative Officer at Sorceron, an emerging Silicon Alley based media software company, from 2000 to 2001, responsible for managing corporate operations. He managed capital raising, business development and strategic planning and tactical operations. Mr. Neugeboren was Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Equity Research Operations at Lehman Brothers from 1998-2000. He was a senior member of the management team responsible for operations for a 200 person department with direct management of technology, finance, editorial and production, human resources, and compliance. Additionally, he managed the equity research business of Lehman’s strategic alliance with Fidelity Investments. He also managed the hard dollar broker-dealer research business with P&L responsibility and was the investment banking department coordinator. He was Deputy Director of Equity Research at UBS Warburg, formerly Warburg Dillon Read from 1996-1998 and Director of Equity Research Operations from 1995-1996 responsible for operations for a 150 person department. Additionally, he participated on the Investment Policy & Equity Commitment Committees. Mr. Neugeboren began his career in 1992 as an equity research analyst covering the Specialty Pharmaceuticals industry, including Generic Drugs and Drug Delivery at Dillon, Read & Co., Kidder, Peabody & Co., and Furman, Selz Inc. He was a member of top ranked Greenwich Associates Mid-Cap Pharmaceuticals Team. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of KineMed, Inc., a private platform-based drug development company in Emeryville, California and is a past Board member of Elite Pharmaceuticals, a public specialty pharmaceutical company principally engaged in the development and manufacturing of oral controlled-release drugs. Mr. Neugeboren graduated with a BS in Economics from Union College in 1992. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and four daughters.

Kenneth Dengler

Ken Dengler has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of institutional equities including, Sales, Sales-trading, Trading, Research, Capital Markets and Technology Infrastructure. Prior to joining Ledgemont, Ken was the COO of Soleil Securities where his roles included CTO, Head of Capital Markets, Relationship Management, and Head of Trading and Sales-trading. Ken started his career at Goldman Sachs as a Sales-trader, and has built and managed Sales-trading and Trading teams at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank. Ken graduated with highest honors at Middlebury College with a double BA in Economics and Psychology and received an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business. He currently serves on the Episcopal Church’s Investment Committee board for the Domestic and Foreign Ministry Society and resides in Westchester with his wife and two sons.

Thomas Ferguson

Mr. Ferguson was a Managing Director and Partner at Bradford Equities between 1993 and 2005. At Bradford, a middle-market private equity firm founded in 1974, he participated in investing in a number of companies in a wide variety of industries. He served on the board of a number of Bradford portfolio companies, and was Chairman of the Board of Trimark USA, Pamarco Technologies and Portuguese Baking Company. While he was at Bradford, the firm raised two institutional funds. Investors included Bessemer Securities and a number of other leading financial institutions. Mr. Ferguson previously served as Vice President of TCW Capital, the middle market buyout firm affiliated with Trust Company of the West. TCW Capital managed $800 million in funds dedicated for middle market equity and mezzanine investments. At TCW Capital, Mr. Ferguson made numerous investments in the manufacturing, financial, service, food, retail and media industries. Mr. Ferguson also served on the Board of 5 TCW Capital portfolio companies. Mr. Ferguson began his career as a Senior Loan Officer in the Acquisition Finance Group at Fidelity Bank in Philadelphia. He has been a Board member of 20 other companies in the middle market sector and has participated in the evaluation or execution of hundreds of acquisitions to date. Mr. Ferguson received a BA in English from Denison University and lives in New Jersey.

Rodney Plaskett

Mr. Plaskett has over 17 years of experience providing institutional investors with a broad range of equity linked research, corporate access and investment banking coverage. Prior to joining Ledgemont, he was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers and a Principal at its successor, Barclays Capital. Mr. Plaskett’s relationships at the major New York based mutual funds affords Ledgemont access to many of the largest pools of long term capital in the United States. In addition to tenure at the aforementioned companies, Mr. Plaskett was a Vice President at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he sourced the first institutional funds for Wood, Struthers & Winthrop from the Government Employee’s Retirement System of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Prior to commencing his career as an institutional equity research salesperson, Mr. Plaskett practiced law at Brown & Wood, Cahill Gordon & Reindel and Warner-Lambert Company. He graduated with a BA in History from Franklin & Marshall College in 1977 and a JD from Columbia University School of Law in 1981. Mr. Plaskett lives in Westchester with his wife and three children.

Jerry Treppel

Mr. Treppel has over 25 years experience in healthcare equity research, investment banking, and portfolio management. He was General Partner of Wheaten HealthCare Partners LP and Principal of Wheaten Capital Management LLC, a long/short equity healthcare fund. Mr. Treppel founded Wheaten with a strategy of exploiting market inefficiencies in small- and mid-cap companies, which are largely underfollowed by Wall Street. The fund focused on diverse subsectors of healthcare, including pharmaceuticals, generic drugs, drug delivery, biotechnology, medical technology, life science tools, pharmaceutical services, managed care and healthcare facilities. Prior to Wheaten, he was a Managing Director, Equity Securities, at Banc America Securities where he covered approximately 25 companies in the Specialty Pharmaceuticals industry. Prior to that, Mr. Treppel was Head of Pharmaceutical Research at UBS Warburg. Previously, Mr. Treppel was employed in senior positions in equity research at Dillon Read, Kidder Peabody, Furman Selz, Swergold, Chefitz & Sinsabaugh, Merrill Lynch and Sloate Weisman & Murray. For the past 25 years, Mr. Treppel analyzed the area of Specialty Pharmaceuticals and created the first investor conference in the sector. Mr. Treppel has been widely recognized for his expertise in these industries, accruing accolades from Reuters, Institutional Investor, and the Wall Street Journal for excellence in industry, company knowledge, and stock picking. Mr. Treppel was among the first analysts to recommend Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Additionally he has extensive experience in capital raising and advisory services. He also researched the health services industry being among the first to recognize the potential of the HMO industry. Prior to entering the investment industry, Mr. Treppel was employed in the health care services industry as a hospital administrator and health planner at Montefiore Medical Center and as a bench scientist researching Epstein-Barr virus. Mr. Treppel is currently on the Board of Directors of Akorn, Inc., a public specialty pharmaceutical company focused on ophthalmics, generic injectable products, contract manufacturing and vaccines, and Elite Laboratories, a public specialty pharmaceutical company specializing in oral controlled-release products. He is a past Board member of Cangene Corporation, the largest public Canadian biopharmaceutical company. He has served on the audit, compensation, and nominating committees for Akorn and Cangene. Mr. Treppel received a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Rutgers College, a Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) from Washington University, and an MBA in Finance from NYU. Before Merrill Lynch, Mr. Magahis was a research analyst at hedge fund Paloma Partners/SBZ Partners, specializing in distressed debt, high-yield and equity investing specifically within the retail, restaurant and real estate sectors. Prior to that, he was a healthcare research analyst at long/short equity hedge fund Merlin BioMed Group. Mr Magahis received a scholarship and graduated with a B.B.A in Finance from Pace University.

Mr. Raby has vast experience in international equities. He started at Chilean mutual fund Toronto Trust S.A. based in Santiago, Chile, trading Chilean equities for a portfolio manager from 1993-1994. He relocated to New York to trade non-U.S. equities for Jefferies & Co. In addition to expanding their prescence in Latin American equities, he also became familiar with European, Canadian and Australian equities. He also co-managed the international equities group's telecom, technology and media trading business aafter trading was sectorized by industry. He presided over Jefferies' expansion into international equities until 2009. He joined Ledgemont Capital Markets sales and trading division in mid 2009. He received his B.A. from Hobart College in 1993 and received a M.B.A at NYU in 2001. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter.

At Banc of America, Mr. Seto’s responsibilities included authoring research reports, constructing detailed financial models, presenting investment ideas to institutional clients and developing relationships with senior management within the sector. He also served as Research Associate covering Specialty Pharmaceuticals at UBS Warburg, formerly Warburg Dillon Read, from 1996 to 1999. Mr. Seto began his investment career as a special situations Analyst at Value Line. Mr. Seto graduated with BA in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1993. Peter Rappaport

Mr. Rappaport began his career as an analyst at SIAR Capital, a family office in New York City with investments of a few hundred million dollars, primarily through a long-only, small-cap equity strategy. At SIAR, Mr. Rappaport assisted in the management of the portfolio, sourced new ideas and sat on the Board of Directors of some of the firm’s portfolio companies. While in college, Mr. Rappaport was the owner and manager of the Wash U Wash companies, a third party provider of laundry and dry-cleaning services.
